Isn't it 2pm yet?
May. 13th, 2007 01:35 pmSo today my building manager set up an open house, so they can try and rent out my appartment since I'll be gone in two weeks. It's from 2-4pm, and damn it, waiting for it to start (and then be over) is killing me. I don't want strangers walking through my apartment. Sure they have to rent it, but still. . .
Of course I could leave, so they wouldn't have to see me here, but the thought of people looking at my stuff when I'm not here is even worse than them doing it when I am. Sigh. . . It'll all be over soon. Just have to hold out a little longer.
ETA: Please shoot me now. It's 3:30 and I've just found out that the open house wasn't from 2-4 it's from 4-6. So all of the things I was going to do while people were poking around my apartment? Done. Now I have 2 and half more hours of this to get through.

ETA2: Okay this isn't so bad. Only two people have been by to look at the place so far, and they've both been nice. I don't think there will be many other people by to look at the apartment. I looked up the listing online, and they are asking $100 more than when I moved in 2 years ago. It's a nice apartment, but it's not that nice.

Date: 2007-05-14 05:31 am (UTC)We'll never be able to sell our house because we've got junk everywhere. It's well-lived in.
