Pretty banner plus a question

As some of you may remember, about a month ago I sucummed to an Angelus/Darla plot bunny and posted a fic called Fair Trade, just to get it out of my head. Now I had ideas of continuing this story, but I wasn't ready to commit to another WIP. Then I saw a challenge posted the fit exactly with the next thing that was going to happen in the story so I had to write more. But to keep it from being a WIP I've decided that it's now a series of short fics which I'm calling The Pygmalion Series. I'll have the second part a little later this month, but in the mean time the wonderful shanmara has made me a banner:




And now I have an LJ question. My lovely layout was done by selene2 and I don't really know how to do custom LJ layouts. I still love it, but I'd like to add one of those sidebars that shows all your tags (it would be really neat if it was one of the ones where the more you use the tag, the bigger the text is). Can anyone tell me how I do that?

Awww, that's a lovely banner. And yay on continuing the story! Looking forward to it :D

Wish I could help you with your layou question. Most of my layout changing involves tweaking around the same opal coding. I should really do it these days. I need a new layout.

Isn't the banner pretty? I'm so happy to have it. And I'm excited about the next part too, even though I can't get it to turn out quite the way I see it in my head. But still, I'm having a lot of fun with it.

I'm afraid I have friends who do great layouts and we talk about what I want and then it happens. I hope you get some help on the basic stuff, like the sideboards and that, because it's very handy. I know some layouts come with them.

As for LJ I'm sure someone on my flist knows how to do it. If not. . . well I guess I'll just have to roll up my sleeves and dig through confusing LJ FAQs.

What you're asking for is a tag cloud.
Sorry, I can't do layouts myself.
What is the name of your layout? 3 column? Then here is the code for it:

Maybe you know by yourself how to use it or you do know someone you does.
If you have a different layout, ask again :) I may have it in my LJ memories too.

Good luck with it. I guess this is 3 column then?
I have in my memories another link; I don't know if it will make it worse (aka I don't know if you can combine the codes) or easier: It's for additional boxes where you can show stuff (icons, html).
But if nothing helps you could ask the one that posted the code; as far as I know both they are both helpful. (From here to the code for additional boxes.)

I'm using the "flexible squares" layout so maybe it's not the same for you but, just in case: to add the tages, I go to "Custom options / Sidebar / Display of tags in the sidebar / Cloud"

Thanks, I probably won't get around to it unitl Monday, but now I know what to look for. If it isn't quite the same, I'm guessing this will be enough for me to figure it out.
