Hollywood isn't so bad. . .

For those who never been to Hollywood, out in front of Gruaman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood there's always a bunch of people dressed like characters from movies who take pictures with tourists out front. This is also my neighborhood, so I pass Superman, Gandalf, Spiderman and such regularly. Anyway I was walking home from the bank, and as I was crossing the street a guy dressed as Captain Jack was crossing the other way. He was really cute (even if he hadn't been dressed as a pirate) and he saw me, smiled and tipped his hat to me.

I still have this big goofy grin on my face, cause damn it, he was hot, although he doesn't look as much like Johnny Depp as the guy the El Capitan (Disney's high end movie theatre) had working there for Pirates 2. And what's really great? I'm not heading back east until about May 29th, and Pirates 3 opens on the 25th so it looks like there will be one last trip to the El Capitan for me before I leave.

Now I just need pirate porn.

There's a good chance it is the same guy. Somehow I haven't managed to notice him before, but I recognize most of the people there as the same ones. Obviously I need to not hurry through the tourists so fast anymore ;)
