This and That

First of all, Happy Birthday to megan_peta. I know it's a couple days late, and I'm so sorry I missed it.

I'm thinking maybe I should start wishing people a happy birthday ahead of time. Especially with my new job. I really like it, but it wears me out, and it feels like it takes up so much of my day. Plus I'm starting a graduate program next week. Of course my first class should be easy but boring. It's basically a technical writing class. Something I could care less about, but I guess I have to do.

And I finally got to read Buffy #1 thanks to slacerace. I really liked it, although I find reading a comic of Buffy a bit odd since I'm used to either seeing the characters on the screen, or in my head. Seeing them drawn is a bit weird. That's all I'll say on that, except that I think its worth reading. The characters were very much spot on, and I like the direction it looks like they are going.

As for my own writing, I should have a new chapter of Fearful Symmetry soon. Possession is going to take a little longer, my muse just hasn't been leaning in that direction. In fact I've almost finished a short Darla/Angelus story. I tried not to write it, but it wouldn't go away, so I figured the best solution was just to get it down on paper (or rather the screen) and then I could get back to my WIPs.

*hugs back* Well, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who's bad about birthdays. And I'm sure we'll catch a few more sightings of each other from time to time.
