L.A. makes me sick.

I mean that literally not metaphorically. I'm sick again. Which means I've now been sick more times in the last year and a half that I moved out here than my whole life previous. In fact I've probably been sick three times as much as in my whole life previous. It kind of makes me want to move.

So I took a sick day from work yesterday, which kind of sucked because it's a new job and all. Although there was no way I could have worked. No one is going to give you money or sign your statement if you show up coughing and hacking on their doorstep. I'm doing good at the job however. It kind of surprises me how good I am at this, because I don't feel like I'm a salesman type. But I know how to smile and look confident and I guess that's half the battle right there.

And can I just make a happy noise. annaross has started a new story. It's a Buffy/VM crossover. So far there's only one chapter which is just full of wonderful Spike and Logan interaction. So go check out Closing Time

Yeah, I have those too. But this isn't allergies cause my allergy medicine doesn't make any difference at all. It's a good old fashioned cold :( So there's not much I can do but wait it out.

Ugh! I hate being sick. :(

I hardly ever get sick, but strangely enough, if we go out of town (to visit family in Ohio, for instance) I'll ALWAYS get sick when I get back home. Once I get over that, I'll be fine until we leave town again lol.

Thanks. I'm sure I will. And I do have the weekend off for once, so that should be plenty of time to get better. I think I've come to resent being sick just because I'm not used to it. Of course no one likes being sick.
