I was just about to e-mail Chapter 4 of Fearful Symmetry to my wonderful betas slacerace and spikesverse when my computer refused to open the file :( Darn it, now I have to rewrite it unless I can figure out a way to make my computer give it back to me. In any case there will be a slight delay on the next chapter.

ETA: Okay this is really odd. I keep my story files on a remots iDisk. For some reason it wouldn't open on my newer laptop, but just because I figured what the hell, started up my old laptop, and the file opens. Weird. But the good news is I don't have to rewrite chapter 4. Which is great because I really like the way it turned out.

You have no idea how good a thing it is that I was able to open the file, because it was a slow to right chapter. I know there's been at least a little smut in all the chapters so far, but the next chapter is a little more smut heavy and it would have taken me quite a while to rewrite it, especially since I'd need to be careful that it ended up in the same place that it did the last time so that I wouldn't have to re-write the chapter after that too.
