iceminkSo I flew home to visit my family and go to my class reunion. Except it looks like I missed my class reunions. At least part of it. I got the date mixed up and the cocktail formal reunion was last night, and I thought it was tonight. As it turns out though there is a picnic tonight so I'll go to that. I'd just hate to find out that some of my old friends went last night and decided not to come tonight. On the other hand, I do know that none of them live in Colorado, so maybe they couldn't fly home in time to make it to a Friday night event, and so they'll be coming to the Saturday one instead. I hope.
It's all kind of funny too because I'm so very web savvy, but classmates.com is just so cluttered that I really couldn't figure out what was going on. As it turned out I could have bought tickets in advance, and had them mailed ot me (and then I wouldn't have known for sure when it was) which I would have loved to do, but I had no idea that I could do that. In fact the only reason I know about the event today is that I buckled down and after some real searching tracked down my High School's web page (it's not easy to find). There everything was explained clearly.
Looks like I brought a cocktail dress for nothing.
