I am the moijito queen!

It's funny the things that can really make your day. Today one of the managers was just hanging out in the bar with some of the customers and she asked me to make her a mojito. Later on she told me how just how great it was, and she's really picky, especially when it comes to mojitos. Which was great cause I was actually nervous when I made her drink cause I was afraid I'd forget something or add the wrong thing or something. So now I'm in a happy bouncy mood, even if it did take me forever to get off work today. I also learned how to make a chocolate martini from one of the customers who bartends at another bar, it looked really good too, so I'm going to have to try one. Oh and she also really liked her drink, so all around it was a good day.

I also got a new laptop, which I'm thrilled about, even if I do feel a little guilty about spending the money. But the truth is I really needed it, my old computer was just dying a slow painful death, and one day it was going to die and leave me stranded.

Sounds like you've had a great day! And don't guilt yourself over the laptop - just think how stressed you'd be without 'puter access!

I actually ended up having a pretty great week, at least until my boss decided to lecture us all on Saturday night, but hey, there's bad bosses everywhere. And I don't feel guilty about the laptop anymore. You're right living without a computer just wouldn't be possible. Plus, having a credit card debt that I'll need a few months to pay off doesn't mean I'm living some crazy lifestyle way above my means, so it's all good.
