I guess I have a lot to learn about being a fangirl. When I heard sometime last week that James would be doing a convention in L.A. in September I was all excited because I figured I could buy the premium tickets because I wouldn't have to pay for hotel or air fair. But I didn't know they were going on sale today, or that they would be sold out so quickly. Obviously next time I need to look into this sort of thing cause it would have been no big deal for me to set my alarm clock to be up when the tickets were first being sold.

I guess I shouldn't mind too much, I still get to go, and more than anything else I'm looking forward to meeting other fans, people I've gotten to know online and such. I just remember that at the convention I went to last year in Houston that most of the people I knew had premium tickets, so I couldn't spend as much time with them because they had other events to go to, or, places to sit, etc. On the other hand I had a great time and really enjoyed meeting the other people who didn't have the best tickets. So I know I'll have a great time, I'm just disappointed right now.

You were at the Con in Houston? I find it funny that I'm finding out how often I've been in the same place with people I'm just now meeting.

Yep, although I wasn't there long. I decided to go at the last minute, and so I couldn't really clear my schedule as much as I wanted. And it is kind of funny to think we were both there. Of course I suppose that's kind of the point of conventions.

Thanks. I'm over my self-pity now. I think a lot of it had to do with waking up way to early (considering what time I got off work) I was kind of out of sorts all day yesterday. Now I'm just happy that I can go.

Yep. This happens to all of us sometimes I was kind of out of sorts all day yesterday. And I think you'll meet a lot of the others (you or I know - from the fandom, LJ - too) :)
