I just had the best job interview ever. After I'd been talking with the guy for a while he excused himself and went to talk to the other guy who was in charge of the hiring. I think the first guy wanted to hire me right away. Anyway when I was done talking to guy number one, he had me talk to guy number two, who said how much I'd impressed guy number one. He also remembered that I'd interviewed there a couple months ago, and seemed to like the fact that I'd bothered to reapply.

Anyway they're supposed to call me tomorrow to let me know one way or another. Except last time they never said anything about calling me, and they never did call to tell me I didn't have the job (not that many places do) so I think that means they'll probably call me and tell me I got a with them.

I'm torn between being overjoyed and bouncy, to being terrified that I'll be in tears tomorrow if they don't hire me.

Still optimism prevails. Too much optimism because as soon as I got home I got a call from this guy I was supposed to go out with tonight and said he had to work tonight. Oh well, he was nice, and kind of cute, but I'm not really sure that we had anything in common so it's probably for the best. Honestly, I'm kind of relieved. It means I can just relax tonight because it's going to be a stressful day tomorrow of sitting by the phone.

What type of work? Same job or type of job you previously interviewed for? Either way, I hope your telephone rings early so that you don't stress yourself out too long tomorrow!

I'm not sure exactly what job they'll give, if they give me one. It's a restaurant bar, and I told them what I wanted to do was bartend, but I'd be happy to be a server, hostess, or cocktail waitress. Evidently they had a lot of positions open so it depended on who else interviewed and what they were willing/qualified to do. Although the guy I talked to seemed more than willing to let me have the bartending job.

As long as I get one of the jobs, I'll be happy. It seems like a great place to work, and once I've got my foot in the door, I'm sure I can work my way up to a bartending position.
