WTF?!

So I just went grocery shopping, came home, turned on my computer and I got an e-mail from someone with subject line "10000. . .":

if pari's serious about this idea coming from another story...this story has been done before and u need to do an A/N on it!

Okay what the hell? I check out TSR and yes Pari does have a post up about plagiarism, but she doesn't mention the stories involved, so why is this person assuming it's me? And I'm guessing the story in question is The Thousand Natural Shocks, because of the mysterious subject line and the fact I updated that story this morning, but the person doesn't bother to say which story of mine they think I have plagiarized.

Plagiarism is bad yes, I'm fully against it, but why is some person randomly accusing me of it, without any clue as to what story I might be copying? I mean seriously. The only thing I can guess is that I was the most recent update when the person saw Pari's post. Or have I completely missed something? Grrr.

The irony is, since that was my Spuffy-smut-a-thon story, I can pretty much prove where I got the idea from.

And after I was feeling so good about winning a victory with the moving company. They are discounting me $100 and have given me "firm" dates. Yeah, well at least I got the discount.

Yeah, I e-mailed them back right away, although I didn't tell them to kiss my ass, I probably should have. Thanks for letting me know the name, even though I knew I couldn't be me because I haven't plagiarized anything, it was just so weired to be accused of it, and I started going through all my stories, trying to figure out if I had subconsciously lifted the plots. And glad you liked the story.

No idea who sent it. She didn't give her name, the entire e-mail was that line I put in italics up above. So not only is her entire accusation unfounded (I doubt she even read any of my story) but she's not willing to even give a first name.

I think the difference between you and them is you've read my stuff. The more I think about it, the more I think they've never read anything of mine. But thanks for the support. It was just so weird being accused of something like that.
