12monthsofbtvs. If you haven't seen the site, go look at it. It's a wonderful lj community that chooses a different Buffy character every month, and asks authors to write a short story about them. There's some great work there, although this month there haven't been many entries. Okay, yeah, haven't posted my own yet, but it's written, and I promise to put it up. So if you read fanfic, go look this month (and past months) entries. If you're a writer, you should really think about giving it a shot. It's a wonderful exercise to write for other characters and you'd be surprised how it can give you ideas. My own story, although about Xander, has lead to a Spuffy story that I'm now working on.
