OMG I think I love Brian Lynch

iceminkIf you're not familiar with Brian Lynch, he is the guy who wrote the comic Spike:Asylym and Joss is more or less going to put him in charge of the Angel season 6 comics.
Anyway why am I in love with him (that than the fact he writes great Spike?) you have to go read this reply he left on the IDW message boards.
ETA I couldn't get the link to work for some mysterious reason, so I cut and paste the post.

Why do you respect me? You haven't read anything I've done, and you've said you probably never will read my previous work.
And 3600+ people won't read the comic unless we do what you say? Tell you what, take your last post, cut out letters from the newspaper to match every word you wrote, superglue them to a piece of paper, and send it to the IDW offices. Silly threats work so much better that way.

The respect thing refers to the fact the guy admited to never having read anything Lynch wrote, and saying that since he doesn't like Spike, he probably never will.
Oh, if you haven't read Spike:Asylum, it really is very good. I went out and bought it yesterday since I was having a bad day, and it was worth it.
