Honestly, what solidifies this as one of my favorite stories is the fact that in the end, you don't dismiss Dru, and in extension Dru and Spike's relationship. I feel like in spuffy fiction it's an easy thing to write Dru off, and I'm a fan of treating Dru right.
Ok that, and I love that Buffy decides to be vampire in the end. Because vampbuffy? Kind of awesome.
