Strange Day
Jan. 18th, 2005 02:06 pmYesterday was a strange day. I woke up and found a couple of e-mails letting me know that Noting to Fear. . . has been nominated at a couple sites. Love's Last Glimpse
and at the Spuffy Awards
At Love's Last Glimpse I was nominated for Best Buffy Characterization, which I find really flattering, and for Best Comedy/Fluff, which I find funny (also flattering, but the only humor I remember writing in that story was Xander in his Skelletor mask and raincoat).
Anyway, thanks for whomever nominated me. Makes me feel like I should be writing the next chapter of the story instead of writing here.
Like I said though, yesterday was a strange day. I'm also an actress, and a member of the Board of Directors for the company I act with. Yesterday we had a meeting, and unfortunately the director of the current show I'm in had to resign. It was one of those situations where there was no good solution, only the best you can do. But it put an odd spin on the day.
Anyway, since I often write in between my scenes at rehearsals, I have to be careful not to write Spike and Buffy in a southern accent accent.
