Maybe that's why I'm in such a good mood, even though I got another e-mail from the person who accused me of plagiarism a couple days ago. In fact mostly I'm amused by this second e-mail.
im not sure she was talking about ANYBODY in particular...however i have noticed as a avid betaer that there are lots of stories that are so similar in plot that one could very easily make the conclusion that they are the same. For ex. there are at least 3 stepsibling stories online and tho they may not have any other similarities other than the stepsibling, acc. to Pari's idea stipulation....thats all it takes. Buffy as a vampire could be seen as this. I really like your story and thought that since there have been other stories where spike has gotten the $ either via angel or other routes...that u MIGHT want to make sure that your idea wasn't even CLOSE. Thats why i was sending you a warning because I know that some may jump to that conclusion. I didn't mean it as an accusation
Okay so this person, who can't capitalize the first letter of a sentence or put in apostrophes is supposedly a beta reader? Or am I miss reading this, cause I had to read it a couple times to make sense of it. And yes other than the netscape ad at the bottom, that's the entire e-mail. Not to mention she obviously couldn't read Pari's post very carefully. If she really is betaing for someone I pity them.
I suppose some time latter today I'll e-mail her back. I probably shouldn't, but it's hard for me to let someone get the last word in, especially when those last words are so badly written. And by her definition what stories aren't plagiarized? And I kind of wonder why it took her five days to get back to me.
