Okay so I'm a little. . . not sure what the word is. I got an e-mail from my mom that my niece's (who's three years younger than me, and more like a kid sister) water broke which would be great news, except it's about five weeks early. So they have her in the hospital and they are monitoring her for infections. If there's an infection they are going to induce labor. So basically I could be a great aunt any time from now until five weeks from now, and I guess my niece is stuck in the hospital until she has the baby, and obviously for at least a few days after that. I just talked to her and my sister, and there doing okay, but still, it's well strange, especially since I just moved away two weeks ago.

I had one 14 weeks early. Five weeks isn't so bad, and it is possible she got her dates wrong. It's very exciting. A great aunt. Wow!

Well she was born earlier this morning, and it looks like both she and her mom are doing fine. And yeah, I'm definitaly excited. In some ways I think I was more excited than worried, since she was already in the hospital and they were keeping a close eye on her. Despite all the complications I'm sure my niece is kind of thrilled to be done with the pregnancy part. They had her on bed rest and it was driving her crazy. She told me she now wants to burn her couch.
