Okay, I'm feeling kind of silly right now. I just got an e-mail saying my story Freedom was nominated at the RDA's in the following categories: Best WIP, Naughty, Wicked, Episode Rewrite (And can I just say the current layout over there is absolutly gorgious)

So why am I feeling silly? A couple days ago when the winners were posted for the last round I went to take a look at who had one. I also looked at the categories for the next round, and I saw that there was a special category, Wicked, for Spike at his naughtiest. After staring at it a while I went ahead and nominated my own story Freedom, because I'm really proud of how I've been writing an evil Spike in that story, and these aren't recurring awards so I figured I wouldn't get another chance.

Here's the funny part, I think while I was at it I nominated myself in the Naughty category, and I may have done the best WIP, but I'm almost entirely sure I didn't nominate myself for Episode Rewrite. Until I saw that in the e-mail I had never really thought of the story as an episode rewrite, although it does fit, and I was really surprised. Except my life's been so confusing and stressful these last few days that it's entirely possible I did.

So if someone else out there nominated me, thanks. In the mean time I'll just go on feeling silly, confused, and embarrassed.

Yay! I'm not crazy and my memory's intact. I actually probably would have e-mailed you, except I have this wonky internet connection right now and I can receive e-mails but not send them. I have all these e-mails building up in my outbox. Maybe there will be internet access at the airport and I can finally send them out.
