I don't think it was gender politics that cost Hillary the election. I just think the election brought out how deeply sexist our culture still is. Obama won on his merits as a political candidate and his brilliant campaign skills. After all it was actually Hillary who won the popular vote, but Obama understood how the system really worked and won that way.
