Although Angel is playing the role of calloused pimp, he's nearly as vulnerable as Spike is. His growing feelings are unnerving, and his gruff facade is masking them very well. I wonder what Spike is thinking during the sex. Angel is being careful, but he's certainly not letting on that he's doing more than training Spike to be a better prostitute.
