lol I think if Spike were trying to hide from Angel, becoming a pop star would be a great way to do it, since Angel's not exactly up on the times. And I think we can pretty much be sure that Spike's music isn't like Manalow.

And wow, I hadn't really thought about it, but you're right, Buffy and Spike are in very similar places. I mean, yes, you've picked up on the subtext exactly, aren't I brilliant ;)
